If you are looking for atmosphere, luxury and comfort, then the De Steenbock country manor house is the right place for you. This exclusive holiday villa in the Achterhoek in the province of Gelderland lies in the village of Sinderen and is ideal for groups of up to twenty people. Thanks to the extensive facilities you will experience a luxurious holiday feeling in De Steenbock. De Steenbock combines contemporary comfort with an authentic atmosphere. The country manor house, dating from 1910, has many original details, such as beamed ceilings, panel doors, mantle pieces and various ornaments. The comfort and luxury become clear from the heated indoor private swimming pool, the sauna and the kitchen with a ten-ring cooking isle. You can relax on the comfortable chesterfields around the imposing mantelpiece in the spacious banqueting hall. Here you can read a book in complete peace and quiet or drink a good glass of wine, while the large open fireplace will create pleasant warmth. The De Steenbock country manor house has ten bedrooms, one of which is situated on the ground floor. In addition there are four bathrooms in the villa. Having a refreshing or warming shower is therefore never too far away. At the rear of De Steenbock there is a beautiful garden of approximately one hectare. Besides many old trees and a spacious park lawn there is also a carp pond. On the large terrace with outdoor fireplace there is space for extensive wining and dining or simply to enjoy the sunshine. It is possible to barbeque in the large open outhouse. The immediate surroundings of De Steenbock are very suitable for taking wonderful walking and cycling trips, for example on one of the surrounding country estates with beautiful castles. In addition there are various welcoming towns such as Doetinchem and Zutphen. For the children the large playground at a nearby coffee farm is a real must. During your stay, the owner of De Steenbock will stay in the guest house elsewhere in the grounds.
