Acacia
This comfortable detached holiday villa is situated in a spaciously laid out villa park only 25 km distance from the town of Assen. Here in holiday villa Acacia, on the edge of the beautiful Drenthe Hondsrug area, you can enjoy peace and quiet, space and comfort. The villas are pleasantly situated in the park; partially directly on the waterfront, partially adjacent to the open field or Drenthe embankment. The villas are privately owned and can vary from each other as far as furnishing and layout are concerned. Each holiday villa has a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. On the ground floor you find one of the three double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower facility or bath. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor. Acacia has a spacious garden. As a guest of Acacia you can make use of the facilities of the adjacent recreation park of which the villa park forms part. There are various playgrounds, as well as a pétanque area, a table-tennis table, a football field and a fishing pond. In addition to this is a heated open-air swimming pool* with a separate small children’s pool, recreation pool, slide and spacious meadows where you can sunbathe. You can also visit the recreation park for lunch, dinner or a drink at the bar* in the cosy café. When the weather is nice you can relax on the beach in front of the café. Approximately 2 kilometres from the park you can find the Semslanden Golf club which has an 18 hole Championship course. The golf course is highly commended by many in the area, and is a challenge for any advanced player. The surroundings of holiday home Acacia offers a variety of options for the visitor. Apart from a versatile nature there are also numerous cultural and entertainment options worth paying a visit to, for example the Bourtange Settlement, Eexterzandvoort sauna or the Noorder Dierenpark (zoo) in Emmen. You can also visit the Borger megalithic centre, Verkeerspark Assen (Educational traffic park) and the Drents Museum in Assen. Speelstad Oranje (children’s amusement park) is highly recommended for young children. * The swimming pool and restaurant are open every day from May till early September. Beyond that there are limited opening times for the restaurant. The layout/furnishings, exterior and location of the holiday homes may vary.

Zo zijn er 4-pers. landhuizen (3*** NL-9431-17, vrijstaand in de buurt van het water gelegen met slaapkamer en badkamer op de begane grond, of een 4**** variant NL-9431-18, luxe en vrijstaand in de buurt van het water gelegen, met sauna enmet meestal een slaap- en badkamer op de begane grond en meestal een solarium). Er zijn 6-pers. landhuizen (3*** NL-9431-19 in een vrijstaande of twee-onder-één-kap variant, gelegen in de buurt van of aan het water met een slaapkamer op de begane grond, of een 4**** variant NL-9431-20, luxe en vrijstaand direct aan het water gelegen met een slaap- en badkamer op de begane grond). Er zijn 8-pers. landhuizen (3*** NL-9431-21, vrijstaand en direct aan het water gelegen met een slaap- en badkamer op de begane grond, of een 4**** variant NL-9431-22, luxe en vrijstaand met sauna, direct aan het water gelegen met in sommige huizen en solarium, wasmachine en/of droger). Doldersummer
The Doldersummer holiday home is situated in a small-scale peaceful holiday park, in an afforested area by the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold nature reserve. In the near vicinity of the village of Doldersum you will find the villages of Diever, Dwingeloo and Vledder. This is an ideal place if you are looking for peace and quiet, space and nature. Via the hallway of the holiday home you gain access to the modern open-plan kitchen of Doldersummer. Adjacent you will find the spacious and light living room with woodstove. From the living room you are treated to a wide view across the pasture with many sheep and lambs. There are two bedrooms, one of which is the master bedroom which can be reached via some steps. The bathroom comes with a beautiful walk-in shower. In the green garden there are various spots where you can lean back, read a book, drink a glass of wine and listen to the twittering birds. The Drents-Friese Wold national park is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. The park consists of approximately 6000 hectares of woodland and heathland. There are more than 130 kilometres of walking trails available. It is also possible to go cycling or horse-back riding. Big towns such as Heerenveen, Assen and Meppel are within easy reach by car.
