This comfortable detached holiday villa is situated in a spaciously laid out villa park only 25 km distance from the town of Assen. Here in holiday villa Drentse Hunze, on the edge of the beautiful Drenthe Hondsrug area, you can enjoy peace and quiet, space and comfort. The villas are pleasantly situated in the park; partially directly on the waterfront, partially adjacent to the open field or Drenthe embankment. The villas are privately owned and can vary from each other as far as furnishing and layout are concerned. Each holiday villa has a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area. On the ground floor you find one of the three double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower facility or bath. The other two bedrooms are on the first floor. Drentse Hunze has a spacious garden. As a guest of Drentse Hunze you can make use of the facilities of the adjacent recreation park of which the villa park forms part. There are various playgrounds, as well as a pétanque area, a table-tennis table, a football field and a fishing pond. In addition to this is a heated open-air swimming pool* with a separate small children’s pool, recreation pool, slide and spacious meadows where you can sunbathe. You can also visit the recreation park for lunch, dinner or a drink at the bar* in the cosy café. When the weather is nice you can relax on the beach in front of the café. Approximately 2 kilometres from the park you can find the Semslanden Golf club which has an 18 hole Championship course. The golf course is highly commended by many in the area, and is a challenge for any advanced player. The surroundings of holiday home Drentse Hunze offers a variety of options for the visitor. Apart from a versatile nature there are also numerous cultural and entertainment options worth paying a visit to, for example the Bourtange Settlement, Eexterzandvoort sauna or the Noorder Dierenpark (zoo) in Emmen. You can also visit the Borger megalithic centre, Verkeerspark Assen (Educational traffic park) and the Drents Museum in Assen. Speelstad Oranje (children’s amusement park) is highly recommended for young children. * The swimming pool and restaurant are open every day from May till early September.
