De Hoge Stolp

This beautiful stolp farm, with its spacious garden which borders the water, is located in the picturesque village of Oostwoud, just a ten minute cycle ride from the IJsselmeer beach and the cosy harbour town of Medemblik. There is a garden house with a kitchen at the back of the garden. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lee at the back of the garden when you wake up whilst enjoying views across the meadows. You will even find some bleating lambs in the spring. You can swim in the sailing water behind your house. This house will give you a lovely, rural holiday feeling. The children will have lots of fun in the spacious garden with a swing and climbing frame, plus there is even a canoe. The house is also home to one lovely cat and number of chickens. There is simply nothing better than exploring your surroundings by bicycle and the owner has been so kind as to make various bikes available for your use. You enter the property via the spacious hall, which boasts original ornaments in the ceiling. The ground floor is home to a large living room with an open fire and a wood stove. The interior is both attractive and timeless. The luxurious kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences. You will also find a guest room with a double bed on the ground floor, as well as an extra bathroom with a shower and a playroom which offers lots of fun for the children. You can reach the fantastic garden via the large shed behind the house. There are three children’s rooms and a bathroom with a bath and double shower on the first floor. The parents’ bedroom can be found on the second floor. One nice cat lives here and there are a couple of chickens in the garden. Please could you feed them all (food is available). This fantastic location is perfect for both adults and children.
