De Vriendelijke Krab
Vanuit het vrijstaande vakantiehuis De Vriendelijke Krab, gelegen in het Noord-Hollandse dorp Krabbendam, heeft u zicht op de West-Friese Omringdijk. Deze bijzondere dijk is maar liefst 125 kilometer lang, slingert door het mooie Noord-Hollandse landschap en eindigt in de historische plaatsen Hoorn en Medemblik. Het strand van Petten bevindt zich op zes kilometer afstand van hier. Vakantiehuis De Vriendelijke Krab heeft een heerlijke tuin rondom, voorzien van verschillende terrassen en zitjes, zodat u gedurende de dag met de zon ‘mee kunt draaien’. Kunstliefhebbers zullen aangenaam verrast zijn door de Afrikaanse beelden in de tuin; een bijzonder fraai contrast met het typisch Noord-Hollandse landschap. Het vakantiehuis is zo gebouwd dat er rekening is gehouden met het mooie landschap en weidse uitzicht. Zittend aan de bartafel van de zeer luxe uitgeruste keuken kijkt u uit op de dijk en ziet u fietsers en wandelaars voorbij komen. Verder bestaat de living uit een ruime zithoek waar u tv en dvd kunt kijken, of een van de mooie cd’s kunt beluisteren die in het huis aanwezig zijn. Aan de eettafel kunt u heerlijk dineren en kijkt u bovendien uit op de met veel zorg aangelegde tuin. De twee slaapkamers van De Vriendelijke Krab bevinden zich beide op de eerste etage. Via een grappig luikje kunt u naar de living ‘spieken’. De master bedroom biedt bovendien een prachtig uitzicht op het West-Friese landschap. De badkamer, ook gelegen op deze etage, beschikt over een ligbad, een douche en een toilet. Via een wenteltrappetje komt u vervolgens in het ‘torenkamertje’: een heerlijke rustige plek om te schrijven of lezen. Tot slot geniet u hier van een stukje historie; schuin tegenover vakantiehuis De Vriendelijke Krab, op de dijk, vindt u de restanten van Kasteel Nuwendoorn. Detached villa, built in entirely authentic Wieringer style, located within a small scale recreational park, just behind the dike at the Wadden Sea. Far away from all the busyness … The rural ‘mini village’ has a picturesque look and has been constructed entirely in the style of some 100 yearsago: ‘grandmother’s time’, where brick-paved roads, shell paths and grass strips were lit by traditional street lanterns in the evening. Despite the authentic image, the villa has a comfortable and modern design and is equipped with all the conveniences you may expect. The heated flooring and the gas stove in the spacious lounge area adds that little bit of extra atmosphere and comfort. The villa has 2 bedrooms and is suitable to accommodate a total of 4 people. On the first floor you will find a completely fitted bathroom. Your holiday home has its own garden, naturally including garden furniture. You will find the ‘Het Lagerhuys’ catering facility in the heart of the recreational park, which has a cosy traditional Dutch bar, a front and rear terrace, a snack corner and a pancake house. You can enjoy a delicious glass of wine from the own vineyard at the rear terrace, whilst enjoying views across the small fishing village under the dike. Plus the terrace at the front of the Lagerhuys offers views across the playground, where the children can have lots of fun in the sandpit, on the swings, the climbing frame and the slide. And after an intense day you can relax in the spa area the ‘Kuurhuys’. At a surcharge you can enjoy several wellnessfacilities and beautytreatments. Villages like Hippolytushoef and the fishing village Den Oever can be found less than three kilometres from our recreational park. The island culture is still very evident on the old island of Wieringen. This island is perfect for exploring either on foot or by bicycle. Modern Garden is a cosy holiday home for those who would like to enjoy the peace, quiet and the space of the welcoming seaside village of Bergen. In less than fifteen minutes driving from Modern Garden you can reach Bergen aan Zee beach. The lively centre of Bergen, with various nice shops and restaurants, can be reached in only five minutes. The holiday home is situated on the edge of the village. Modern Garden is furnished in a modern way and at the same time it has a warm, homely atmosphere which will immediately make you feel at home. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has all the necessary mod cons. You will have one bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom with a shower at your disposal. The garden of the holiday home has plenty of garden furniture and thanks to the outdoor fireplace you can also enjoy being outside in the evenings. A lovely evening of barbecuing is also one of the options. Apart from the picturesque Bergen, from Modern Garden you can also get to know the rest of the surroundings. For example you can pay a visit to the other nearby beaches, amongst which are Egmond aan Zee, Petten and Callantsoog. The welcoming cheese-making town of Alkmaar is also a real must.
