La Gaviota
Holiday bungalow with sunny garden, suited for upto six persons. The house is situated close to the forest, dunes, beach and sea and there are may playing facilities for children nearby. An ideal family home from where you can discover the island Ameland. On the north edge of small village Ballumlies house La Gaviota in a spaciously laid out holiday village. The bright livingroom and large and sunny garden are characteristic for this house. All rooms are on ground level. The modernly furnished livingroom has a coy sitting area and there’s a large dining table for six. The kitchen is not too big, but equipped with everything you need and in the adjoining side kitchen are a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms, all with two single beds. The modern bathroom has a shower. The garden is all around the house with a large lawn to play on and several terraces to find a place to sit, sunny or in the shade, in the cooling breeze or sheltered. A tennis court, minigolf course and outdoor pool (family entry ticket available!) are nearby. The holiday village borders the vast dune nature reserve that covers the northern part of the island, a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. The village of Ballum is about one kilometre away.

De Duinlodge is een heerlijk vakantiehuis, dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. De woonkamer is gezellig en modern ingericht en in de luxe keuken is kunt u uitstekend kokkerellen. De slaapkamers beschikken over boxspringbedden en een lcd tv. Elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer met een douche, wastafel en toilet. Op het vakantiepark is werkelijk van alles te doen. Er is een overdekt zwembad, midgetgolf, bowlingbanen en diverse speelterreinen. En alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, worden er in de vakanties allerlei activiteiten georganiseerd door het animatieteam. Wilt u liever wat rust? Dan raden wij u een bezoekje aan het saunacomplex met droge sauna, Turks zwembad, dompelton, whirlpool en infrarood sauna aan. Ameland is zee. Ameland is duinen. Maar Ameland heeft nog zoveel meer! Beleef Ameland en bewandel de paden waar u nauwelijks iemand tegenkomt, fiets langs de mooiste plekjes en ontdek het natuurreservaat. Het centrum van Hollum ligt "om de hoek" maar ook Ballum, Buren en Nes, de andere dorpjes van het eiland, zijn een bezoekje zeker waard. Net als een bezoekje aan de vuurtoren, het zeeaquarium, recreatiegebied de Vleyen (ideaal voor kinderen) of het reddingbootmuseum.

Although the looks of outside of this house are perhaps not the most challenging, inside house Ander Idee you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing holiday. All rooms in this house are on ground level, starting with the bright livingroom with a cosy sitting area and a dining table that seats six. The kitchen is simple but modern and efficient, equipped with everything you need, even a small table to have breakfast at. There are three bedrooms – one of them with a double bed, the other two both wit a robust bunk bed. All bedrooms have plenty of cupboard space and a washing basin with hot and cold water. The bathroom has a shower. There is a terrace on the south side and a large lawn. Here you can enjoy your meals at the wooden picnic table and children can play freely. In the holiday village are several playing facilities for children and next door to the village is the heated swimming pool of Ballum that you can use for free in the summer season.
