The Holidayhome De Boarne lies directly by the water in the heart of Friesland. De Boarne is situated in a recreational park on the edge of the picturesque village of Akkrum, within half an hour’s drive of Sneek. From your private quay, or from the marina at the park, via the Meineslaet you can easily sail to the Snekermeer and the Pikmeer lakes at Grou. Should you visit De Boarne in winter time and it has frozen sufficiently, then you might get on the ice for a skate around Friesland! De Boarne has a fresh appearance and is comfortably furnished for 5 people. Light, space and surrounded by water are the characteristics that make this holiday home so special. The living room has a wonderful view to the water and the garden. On the street side of the house you will find the open-plan kitchen. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The recreational park is a park in development. It has a fantastic position within the characteristic Frisian landscape which is typified by peace, quiet and water. And it is not just water-sports enthusiasts that can have a great time here – for those who like cycling or walking the surroundings also offer plenty of options. National Park de Alde Feanen or the slightly further Drents Friese Wold is certainly worth a visit. For a day out, Sneek, Heerenveen, Joure and Grou are great options.
