Attractive thatched cottage situated within a small scale park near the centre of Schoorl. All the facilities offered by this cosy village are within walking distance, like the lovely restaurants, bicycle hire, shops and, of course, the terraces. There is a unique climbing dune right in the middle of Schoorl, which is an impressive 54 meters high. A fantastic place for children to have some fun! You can cycle to the sea and the beach from the park in approximately 15 minutes, via a beautiful route across the dunes. The former fishing village of Egmond and the artists’ village of Bergen, with its multitude of art, culture and history, are within cycling distance and are certainly worth a visit. Holiday home Klaterduyn boasts an original design and layout and is equipped with all the necessities to guarantee a comfortable stay. The ground floor is home to an L-shaped living room and a modern and completely equipped kitchen with, among other things a Nespresso. The central staircase at the entrance will take you to the void area with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms with the spacious and luxury bathroom are located in the large basement. The French doors in the living room provide access to the terrace with jacuzzi. A fantastic place to sit back and enjoy the sunshine and tranquillity. Tranquillity can certainly also be found in the Schoorl Dunes National Park, the most extensive and varied nature area along the Dutch coastline. You will find a great choice of beautiful walking routes and cycle paths, taking you right through the dunes and polder landscape. The beach access point at Schoorl aan Zee is unique and not accessible by cars. There is also plenty to do for the children in Schoorl’s forestry area.
