Familyhouse Somerstaete is a stylish holiday accommodation in the beautiful The Hague Statenkwartier area. The house is very suitable for families up to 6 people, who want to enjoy an ideal location between town and beach with all amenities within reach. House Somerstaete is a typical town house dating from the early twentieth century and extensively renovated by the current owners while maintaining detail and equipped with modern comforts. On the ground floor is a spacious living room suite with original sliding doors. The seating area is a modern lounge area with smart TV (including Netflix, HBO, etc.) and in the back room is the dining table that seats up to eight people and a gas fireplace. The open kitchen is equipped with all appliances and a breakfast bar for three people. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a large double bed and the first bathroom which has a bath, shower and floor heating. The children’s playroom has a comfy couch, plenty of toys and a TV with DVD player. The other bedrooms are on the second floor – all three with a single bed, two of which also even have a trundle yet. There is also a large balcony where you can enjoy the sun until sunset. The second bathroom has a walk in shower. Through the doors you reach down the sheltered and sunny backyard. Here is a picnic table and a bench. In the front yard is space for the bikes and you can also sit on the lovely sheltered bench. House Somerstaete is very central. The lively Frederik Hendrikstraat is around the corner and both beach, sea and promenade of Scheveningen as the center of The Hague are easily accessible. A wonderful base for a holiday in any season!
