Boerderij de Esch
Deze statige rijks monumentale herenboerderij ligt op ca. 500 meter afstand van het historische dorp Geesteren nabij Borculo en Lochem. Vanuit de woning heeft u een prachtig uitzicht over de omliggende landerijen. De boerderij stamt uit 1476 en is in de periode 2008 tot 2010 geheel onder monumentenzorg gerestaureerd. Veel oude ornamenten en balken zijn behouden gebleven. De boerderij is zeer comfortabel en smaakvol ingericht. De woonkamer met de authentieke schouw (openhaard) is een riante leefruimte van meer dan 60 m². De moderne keuken is voorzien van alle apparatuur en de kookliefhebbers kunnen hier een heerlijke maaltijd bereiden. De grote afgeschermde tuin biedt voldoende mogelijkheid om uitgebreid te spelen of een boek te lezen. U vindt er een terras, vijver, grasveld, boomgaard en een schuur. Geesteren ligt in een fraai essenlandschap. Er zijn dan ook talloze wandel- en fietsroutes in de buurt voor echte natuurliefhebbers. Voor kinderen is een bezoek aan ‘de Melktap’ in Geesteren een leuk uitje. Hier kunt u dagelijks verse boerderijmelk tappen en kennismaken met de boerderij, de dieren of activiteiten ondernemen als boerengolf, klootschieten of een maisdoolhof. Een bezoekje aan de historische stad Lochem is zeker de moeite waard. Steden als Almelo, Hengelo, Enschede en Apeldoorn liggen op een goed te bereiken afstand van dit vakantiehuis. In overleg kunt u de boerderij ook voor een afwijkende periode boeken, neem hiervoor contact met ons op.
