De woning is sfeervol en huislijk ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ruime keuken is een prima thuisbasis voor culinaire weekenden en verwennerijen. De indeling van de boerderij leent zich voor zowel gemeenschappelijk als individueel genieten. Rond de boerderij ligt een ruim terras met grote tuin geschikt voor diverse balspelen. Dit vakantiehuis leent zich uitstekend voor een gezellig verblijf met familie of vrienden. Begin 2014 is het huis opnieuw geschilderd van binnen en buiten. Tevens zijn bedden en matrassen vernieuwd Fietsen en wandelen behoren tot de favoriete bezigheden van de gasten. Daartoe zijn er in de directe omgeving verschillende mooie fiets- en wandelroutes uitgezet, waar herten en wilde zwijnen nog je pad kunnen kruisen. Verschillende culturele mogelijkheden in de omgeving zijn Paleis het Loo, Kasteel de Cannenburgh, en het Kröller Müller Museum (Nationaal Park de Hoge Veluwe). Voor de kinderen zijn er legio ontspanningsmogelijkheden, zoals een kaarsenmakerij, diverse tropische zwembaden in Emst (Wildhoeve), Nunspeet en Vaassen en attracties als Apenheul en Julianapark.

On the edge of the village of Brummen in the province of Gelderland you will find this detached former farmhouse with a private heated swimming pool. In the vast and peaceful surroundings of the Cortenoever holiday home you can take beautiful walks and cycling trips. The centre of Zutphen, with many welcoming shops and restaurants, is only 7 kilometres away. Via the hallway of the Cortenoever holiday home you gain access to the authentic living room with a seating area and an open fireplace. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view over the spacious garden. The dining table is large enough for the entire family. Adjacent to the living room there is a rural, fully equipped kitchen.
