De keuken en eettafel bevinden zich in het bovenste gedeelte en middels enkele treden bereikt u de gezellige woonkamer op het lagergelegen deel. Vanuit de woonkamer heeft u zicht op de landelijke tuin aan het water. U heeft de mogelijkheid om een hekje te plaatsen in de tuin voor de veiligheid van kleine kinderen. Op de eerste etage bevinden zich twee slaapkamers; een slaapkamer met een tweepersoonsbed en een slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden. Ook de badkamer met ligbad en toilet bevindt zich op de eerste etage. Door de ligging en de ruimte is vakantiehuis Marielle bij uitstek geschikt voor gezinnen. De nabij gelegen stad Alkmaar kunt u per fiets bereiken, een bezoekje aan de kaasmarkt is zeker de moeite waard. En uiteraard leent de omgeving zich perfect voor mooie wandel-en fietstochten door de duinen van Noord-Holland.

The house is very suitable for families up to 6 people, who want to enjoy an ideal location between town and beach with all amenities within reach. House Somerstaete is a typical town house dating from the early twentieth century and extensively renovated by the current owners while maintaining detail and equipped with modern comforts. On the ground floor is a spacious living room suite with original sliding doors. The seating area is a modern lounge area with smart TV (including Netflix, HBO, etc.) and in the back room is the dining table that seats up to eight people and a gas fireplace. The open kitchen is equipped with all appliances and a breakfast bar for three people. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a large double bed and the first bathroom which has a bath, shower and floor heating. In the front yard is space for the bikes and you can also sit on the lovely sheltered bench. House Somerstaete is very central. The lively Frederik Hendrikstraat is around the corner and both beach, sea and promenade of Scheveningen as the center of The Hague are easily accessible. Marie is a comfortable, detached holiday home on the edge of the welcoming Noord-Holland artist village of Bergen. The Marie holiday home is suitable for two adults and two children. It takes fifteen minutes by bicycle to reach the beach of Bergen aan Zee and the woodland area is only a two minute walk away.
