Ook voor wandelaars is het hier zeer geschikt. Er loopt een mooie wandel-fietsroute langs het kanaal. Op een boogscheut bevinden zich natuurgebeiden en vele andere toeristische trekpleisters. De passantenhaven de Welvaart ligt naaste de woning en meerdere natuurparken waar het ook heerlijk wandelen en fietsen is. Het welbekende Limburgse fietsroutenetwerk komt aan de voordeur voorbij. Leuk om te bezoeken in de omgeving zijn de plaatsen Maaseik, Maastricht of Hasselt. Vele kleine plaatsjes in de omgeving zijn ook de moeite van een bezoek waard.

Premium (BE-3690-04) en 8-pers. Premium (BE-3690-05) zijn uitgebreid met extra’s als flatscreen TV en afwasmachine. Het type 4-pers. VIP (BE-3620-06) beschikt over modern interieur en extra luxe zoals een sauna. Alle types hebben een eigen terras met tuinmeubilair.
