Slenaken is een klein dorp in de gemeente Gulpen-Wittem in het zuiden van Limburg, dicht tegen de grens met België. Dit gebied wordt ook wel de Tuin van het Heuvelland genoemd. Glooiende heuvels, kabbelende beekjes, groene weilanden en fraaie vakwerkhuizen. Het dorp ligt in een dal waar de Gulp doorheen stroomt. Er zijn diverse wandelpaden die u voeren door het prachtige heuvelland. Na alle inspanningen kunt u genieten van een Limburgs biertje in één van de gezellige cafeetjes van Slenaken. Voor het ontdekken van de regio is Slenaken ook een prima uitvalsbasis. Het sfeervolle Maastricht ligt op 20km afstand en het gezellige Valkenburg op 14km afstand. Ook de Belgische Voerstreek ligt naast de deur en is absoluut een bezoek waard.
