B&B Brocante
B&B Brocante is a cosy ‘bed and breakfast’, situated in a renovated ‘stolp’ farmhouse (traditional Dutch farmhouse built in the shape of a cheese-cover) in the village of Burgerbrug. In total there are three rooms, each with its own ‘brocante’ style (furnished with old pieces that have been updated) in line with the rural appearance. On arrival you will be given a room. The beach of Petten is only 4 kilometres away and within easy reach by bicycle! Your room comes with its own shower and washbasin. The (communal) toilet is in the corridor. On the ground floor you will find a living room where you can play board games or make yourself a cup of tea. Breakfast is served in the kitchen diner of the owner. Enjoy fresh eggs, vegetables and herbs from the garden and delicious home-made jam. B&B Brocante is situated close to the welcoming cheese-making town of Alkmaar and the nice West-Frisian town of Schagen. Next to that the villages of Schoorl en Bergen are less than 10 kilometres away. Es sind schöne Spazier- und Fahrradrouten ausgewiesen, die Sie durch die ganze nordholländische Dünenlandschaft führen. Neben dem Zentrum des alten Fischerdörfchens Egmond aan Zee lohnt sich auch ein Besuch des Künstlerdorfes Bergen. "Noordzee" ist ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus, das einem viele Möglichkeiten bietet.
Modern Garden
Modern Garden is a cosy holiday home for those who would like to enjoy the peace, quiet and the space of the welcoming seaside village of Bergen. In less than fifteen minutes driving from Modern Garden you can reach Bergen aan Zee beach. The lively centre of Bergen, with various nice shops and restaurants, can be reached in only five minutes. The holiday home is situated on the edge of the village. Modern Garden is furnished in a modern way and at the same time it has a warm, homely atmosphere which will immediately make you feel at home. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has all the necessary mod cons. You will have one bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom with a shower at your disposal. The garden of the holiday home has plenty of garden furniture and thanks to the outdoor fireplace you can also enjoy being outside in the evenings. A lovely evening of barbecuing is also one of the options. Apart from the picturesque Bergen, from Modern Garden you can also get to know the rest of the surroundings. For example you can pay a visit to the other nearby beaches, amongst which are Egmond aan Zee, Petten and Callantsoog. The welcoming cheese-making town of Alkmaar is also a real must.
