The Lake House
Dit karakteristieke vrijstaande huis ligt direct aan het water. Uw achtertuin grenst aan de dijk. Via een speciaal trappetje kunt u het schone zoete zwemwater in. De eigenaren stellen fietsen ter beschikking, waarmee u de mooie omgeving kunt ontdekken. Bovendien is deze plek een prima uitvalsbasis om Amsterdam te bezoeken (slechts 20 minuten). In de achtertuin zijn twee terrassen. Doordat er -zeker aan de dijk- altijd een windje waait, is het hier ook ‘s zomers goed uit te houden. In een apart gedeelte wonen vijf lieve bruine kippen. Als u ze verzorgt, zorgen zij dagelijks voor vijf verse eieren. Aan de voorzijde van uw huis loopt de weg. Als u deze oversteekt, komt u op het gazon van de voortuin, die ook aan het water grenst (Uitdammerdie). Ook hier is een heerlijk terras. Dit is een magnifieke plek om van de avondzon te genieten. Ook ligt er een roeiboot voor u klaar. Kenmerkend voor het huis is de meedraaiende zon: aan het begin van de dag schijnt deze aan de achterzijde. Gedurende de dag draait deze over het huis naar de voorzijde. Op de begane grond is een ruime living met houtkachel, eethoek en woonkeuken. Op de etage bevindt zich een tweede living. Door het vele hout is er een gezellige sfeer gecreëerd. Hier staat ook een piano en er is een klein keukentje. Op de etage zijn twee slaapkamers evenals een badkamer.
