TheWaterpas houseboat is in a fantastic location: on the Spaarne, with an unrestricted view over the national reserve. This great accommodation has its own sloop, with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings. So rural and yet so close to Haarlem centre (4 kilometres) and Heemstede (3.5 kilometres). From your terrace on the water you can enjoy canoes passing by, but larger boats sail by as well! The Waterpas holiday home garden in fact consists of a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. For the children there is a swing. On entering the houseboat you will be amazed how spacious it is! On the left is the living room with seating area, dining area and a kitchen with all modern conveniences. The large windows and the magnificent view are of course the nicest aspects of this space. The right side of the boat consists of three bedrooms and a bathroom. Down below a children’s play area has been created, with TV, video, playstation2, DVDs and various Disney videos. So in the event of bad weather the children still don’t need to be bored. But of course – if the weather is with you – you can be outside! Because this is the best part of it… In the evening, watching the sun setting, enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace… then you truly experience that ultimate sense of freedom… Please transfer the deposit before arrival. In less than fifteen minutes driving from Modern Garden you can reach Bergen aan Zee beach. The lively centre of Bergen, with various nice shops and restaurants, can be reached in only five minutes. The holiday home is situated on the edge of the village. Modern Garden is furnished in a modern way and at the same time it has a warm, homely atmosphere which will immediately make you feel at home. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and has all the necessary mod cons. You will have one bedroom with a double bed and an adjacent bathroom with a shower at your disposal. The garden of the holiday home has plenty of garden furniture and thanks to the outdoor fireplace you can also enjoy being outside in the evenings. A lovely evening of barbecuing is also one of the options. Apart from the picturesque Bergen, from Modern Garden you can also get to know the rest of the surroundings.
