Alouette
Familyhouse Alouette is located in the green Vogelwijk area on the outskirts of The Hague and is colorful and attractively furnished for up to six people. Forest, dunes and sea are nearby and in no time you are on the boulevard of Scheveningen, or in the center of The Hague. In the house Alouette you will taste the international experience of the owners. The colors and art objects from Africa and Asia mingle with European design and Dutch functionality from the front door into the cozy backyard. The living room has a cozy sitting area around the fireplace and an adjoining dining room from where you proceed into the modern kitchen. The master bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor as well. Through the mezzanine you reach the two bedrooms on the upper floor. One of them has a bed in a sleeping loft, and the other has a double bed. The second bathroom here has a shower. The fourth and last bedroom is located in the gazebo. Here is a bed (120 cm wide) and a third bathroom with shower. The garden invites you to relax and enjoy a place in the sun or in the shade and in the evening you enjoy your meal on the sunny terrace. You share the house with two lovely cats who are outside a lot and like to be cared for by you. The owner puts some bikes at your disposal so you can quickly reach the beach and also easy cycle to the boulevard. The dunes of Westduinpark are within walking distance and the city center of The Hague can be reached easily by bike or public transport. Holiday house Alouette is so well equipped that you are in the holiday mood immediately – to complete the picture of utter relaxation there is even a petanque field opposite the house under the trees.
AnneFleur
Just at the border where the polder changes into the area of the woods and dunes, this comfortable holiday house is located. The interior radiates a pleasant ambiance and is well kept. Interior: Ground floor: Through the large living room with a comfortable sitting area one gains access to the big garden which faces towards the south. The kitchen has all modern appliances. From the kitchen one has direct access to the terrace. First floor: One double and one room where one van place a baby cot. The bathroom includes a Turkish bath. This holiday house is located at the end of a dead end street. Directly behind the enclosed and private garden you will find a small path for bycicles alongside a beautiful pond.
Coockaburra
Colorful family home Coockaburra is situated in the beautiful green Vogelwijk – a residential area on the edge of the dunes. This holiday home offers you all you need on walking distance from dunes, beach and sea. Enjoy all advantages of The Hague – the city by the sea, where both the beaches and the lively city centre are within your grasp. House Coockaburra however is outside all busy traffic and is the ideal place place for a relaxed family holiday. Upon entering the classical ‘thirties’ house you experience the effort the owners have put into furnishing and decorating the place. The comfortable living room adjoins the dining kitchen, where you will find a large dining table and all modern equipment you may need. Through the sliding door you have access to the sunny garden where you can always find a sheltered seat and where the children can enjoy themselves on the trampoline. On the first floor are two bedrooms, both with a double bed. One of these is a french bed – fit for two children or one adult. The luxuriously finished bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are on the second floor, where there’s also a laundry section. Of course you can connct to Wifi internet throughout the house and the owners put four bicycles at your disposal to explore the surroundings. The dunes are litterally around the corner and the beach is on walking distance. You can easily reach family beach resort Kijkduin or lively Scheveningen by bike or public transportation, or visit the centre of The Hague, with its many shops, museums and restaurants. House Coockaburra offers you the best of all worlds!
De Kolibrie
The De Kolibrie is a wonderful and comfortable family home with a nice garden. Children can play safely here while you relax on one of the terraces. The welcoming Noord-Holland city of Haarlem is only 2 kilometres away from the holiday home and the beach of Zandvoort only 7. Within walking distance you will find various shops. The De Kolibrie holiday home has a living room with two defined spaces: the front part consists of a seating area and the back part is a lovely play room for children. Adjacent you will find the fully equipped kitchen diner. The bedrooms and the two bathrooms are divided over the first and the second floor. The De Kolibrie is a spacious and comfortable holiday home for the entire family.
Het van Herwijnenhuis
The Van Herwijnenhuis lies a stone´s throw away from the beach of Bergen aan Zee. You can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at one of the trendy beach pavilions. By bicycle you can reach the artists’ village of Bergen within fifteen minutes. Nearby towns such as Alkmaar and Schagen are certainly also worth a visit. The Van Herwijnenhuis is a spacious split-level house. This holiday home takes its name from the beautiful paintings in the house. From the entrance you go up a few steps and walk straight into the spacious living room with open fireplace. A few more steps up you gain access to the welcoming kitchen diner. Up another floor are the two bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower corner. The third bedroom is in the basement. The access to this bedroom is low, and because of that we feel that this bedroom is more suitable for two children. Here you will also find some fitness equipment which you may use. Paarlemoer
Paarlemoer is a welcoming family home in a new residential area, on the edge of the so called Mosseldorp (mussel village) of Yerseke in the province of Zeeland. Only a couple of hundred metres away you will find the small Damse beach by the Oosterschelde and you can take day trips to towns such as Goes, Middelburg and Bergen op Zoom. The holiday home is suitable for five people. Paarlemoer holiday home comes with a spacious, light living room with a welcoming seating area and a gas fireplace. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences. Via the French garden doors you gain access to a completely fenced off garden with garden furniture and a climbing frame. On the first floor of the holiday home are the largest bedroom, two rooms with a single bed and a modern bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and two washbasins. Romeintje
Corner property, located in a quiet, child friendly neighbourhood. Just a fifteen minute bike ride to the centre, half an hour to the beach. The train will take you to Zandvoort or Amsterdam in no time at all. The house includes a garden with a sandpit, slide and swimming pool. There is also a large barbecue / garden fireplace. The alleyway is closed off, so the children can play safely there too, although there is also a large playing field to the side of the property. And lots of children in the neighbourhood! The ground floor boasts a living room with a cosy open kitchen diner and plenty of room to play or bring the dog along. You will find two bedrooms upstairs. Strandhuis WS2
Space and comfort at a short distance from the sea and beach, this can be found in house Strandhuis WS2! This family home is fully equipped for up to 8 people and is within walking distance of the boulevard of Katwijk and also near to the lively center. Holiday home Strandhuis WS2 is a real family house and even suitable for two families. The owners have completely renovated the drive-in house in 2014. On the ground floor is a large garage where except for one car is enough space for bikes or beach toys. On the first floor is the cozy living area. Here is the living room with comfortable seating area and kitchen with a cozy eight-person dining table. Of course you dispose of all appliances and equipment in the modern kitchen. On the cozy lounge balcony you can enjoy your drinks in the sun. On the second floor are three bedrooms. The first one is equipped with a double bed, one has two single beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. In the modern bathroom is a practical walk-in shower. The last bedroom is yet another floor up and has a double bed and a cot. On this floor there is also a lovely play area for kids with plenty of toys. In the house you have a washing machine and dryer as well as wireless internet at your disposal. The garage has room for one car, for a second car you can buy a ticket at the owner for € 10 per day. The beach and the beautiful, redesigned promenade are within walking distance of house Strandhuis WS2. Here you find the typical beach chairs of Katwijk that you can rent per day, and there are many nice beach restaurants where you can eat a fish course or finish the day with a drink. The lively center is literally around the corner. Be amazed by the variety of shops and restaurants and make sure to visit the Katwijk Museum or the Space Expo in Noordwijk. Or combine your stay with a visit to the musical Soldier of Orange in the most unique theater in the Netherlands. Enjoy the numerous hiking and biking trails through the dunes or through the watery landscape around Kagerplassen. In the spring you must make a tour to the exuberant flowering bulb fields of the Bulb Region. The nearby cities of Leiden, The Hague, Haarlem and Amsterdam are easily accessible and certainly worth a visit.
Zonnig Egmond
