Aan de Dijk

This restored listed gardener’s house is situated along the North Holland canal in the polders. You can get to the historical town of Alkmaar within 15 minutes and Geestmerambacht – a large nature park with little beaches and ponds – is only a couple of kilometres away. Bergen aan Zee is also about 15 minutes by car and the house has a lovely garden with a sunny patio and a playing area. The house has many original details. There is a lovely front living room, a separate dining room and a modern kitchen. A double bedroom and a bathroom are also on the ground floor. You reach the first floor via a reasonably steep staircase where there are two bedrooms and also room in the front loft space for one person to sleep. The old cabbage shed is now lived in by the owner of the property and behind this there is a waterway where you will find the rowing boat ready for use.

Aan de Vijver

This elegant holiday house was built in a monumental barn, nicely reconstructed to a comfortable and luxurious holiday residence, under conservation of some authentic style elements. You walk to the village in fifteen minutes over the dike and by bike you are in a quarter of an hour at the the Veerse Meer (lake) which is favoured especially by water sportsmen, divers and fishermen. There is a little beach where you can wonderfully swim, ideal for little children. The North Sea beach near De Banjaard/Kamperland is five minutes away by car. The holiday house is situated in the rear part of the barn, with the open view upon the polder. In this rear part is another holiday house (In de Polder). There is a joint entrance, but both have their privacy, because the terraces were built at different sides of the building. The owner lives in a house at the front side of the very wide estate and there is also a mini camping. Around the house children have much space to play. There is a wing, a slide, a trampoline, also goals and a soccer ground. In the direct surrounding are many animals, like chicken, peacocks and deers. In short much to experience. You reach the house via the joint hall, than you pass the entrance door and reach the open kitchen. This is modern and equipped with all utensils, here is also the dining-table. Adjoined to that is the comfortable lounge. On the ground floor are a bedroom and a bathroom; on the first floor are another two bedrooms and a bathroom. In short: a perfect holiday place to enjoy the quietness and wideness, for old and young.

Beemsterhof

This traditional Dutch farmhouse built in the shape of a cheese bell is comfortable and spacious and is uniquely situated in Beemster, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. The area owes its status to its 17th-century polder landscape that is still almost wholly intact. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling. It is also possible to explore the region from the many waterways. Bicycles can be hired from the owner. Several large cities and towns, such as Alkmaar, Hoorn and Amsterdam, are just a 30-minute drive away. The farmhouse and hall have been completely renovated with the inclusion of authentic details that preserve the atmosphere of the original farmhouse. In the hall there is a living area with an open kitchen and a large dining table – perfect for meals and also for playing games. On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms (one of which has wheelchair access). On the first floor there are another two bedrooms that sleep four. All of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom. The farmhouse has a large garden with various fruit trees. Children are welcome to use the go-karts.

Boerderij Anno Nu – Wiringherlant

Ons Boerenhuis is a farm-turned-holiday-home for 10 guests. It is located at a dyke in Hippolytushoef, the Netherlands, near the Waddenzee. You are welcome to use the facilities of the nearby park. On site, you have a game room with table tennis and a tv, and you can sit back and relax in the garden. The group accommodation has zeven private parking spots, of which two are in the garage. The park has several facilities, like a restaurant, terrace, bar, snack corner and pancake house. On the terrace the park serves wines from its own vineyard. This beautiful stolp farm, with its spacious garden which borders the water, is located in the picturesque village of Oostwoud, just a ten minute cycle ride from the IJsselmeer beach and the cosy harbour town of Medemblik. There is a garden house with a kitchen at the back of the garden. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the lee at the back of the garden when you wake up whilst enjoying views across the meadows. You will even find some bleating lambs in the spring. You can swim in the sailing water behind your house. This house will give you a lovely, rural holiday feeling. The children will have lots of fun in the spacious garden with a swing and climbing frame, plus there is even a canoe. The house is also home to one lovely cat and number of chickens. There is simply nothing better than exploring your surroundings by bicycle and the owner has been so kind as to make various bikes available for your use. You enter the property via the spacious hall, which boasts original ornaments in the ceiling. The ground floor is home to a large living room with an open fire and a wood stove. This stylish furnished holiday house is situated in the centre of the Polder, five kilometers distant from the beach in Cadzand and five minutes by bike from the little, cozy village Zuidzande. You can reach Oostburg by car within ten minutes. The location is ideal, very quiet on the property of a farm with a big pear garden besides the house of the owner. The house is a part of an entire new farm. Fifteen kilometers distant is the lively Belgian Knokke and also the cozy Belgian cities as Bruges and Gent are close by. Via the hall of the house you get into a spacious living room, stylish furnished in brown colors, with a big dining-table, a comfortable lounge and a nice, modern kitchen with cooking island and several utensils. The sliding doors lead to the terrace at the front side. Galerie aan ‘t Water is a farmhouse with superb views across the Eilandspolder and just ten minutes from the cosy cheese town of Alkmaar with its many shops and terraces. The immediate surrounding area is ideal for cycling and you can reach the beach by car in just half an hour. The living room has been modernly furnished and offers views across the water. Here you can sit back and enjoy a good book in front of the wood stove. There is a dining table which seats six, perfect for some fantastic dinners. Wagenhuys has a cozy living-dining area with a gas fireplace and a large glass sliding door. The dining table can host 10 people. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and offers every way of comfort. In this room is a spiral staircase from which you can reach the upper floor. On this floor there are two bedrooms; one room with 3 single beds and one room with a double bed. Both rooms have a sink available. This elegant holiday house was built in the barn of a farm, dated from 1691 and formerly served as an Orangerie for ‘Buitenplaats Berkenbosch’ situated a bit further away in the forest. It is in the meantime a protected state monument and was wonderfully converted into a comfortable and luxurious holiday-domicile.Through the nature reserve you will reach the beach in a ten minutes walk and on youre bike you will be in the village within ten minutes. The holiday house is situated at the far end of the barn (where is also the house of the owner) and offers the clear view upon the pasture-ground and woodland situated at the backside, which also belongs to the property of the owner. In front of the house is a terrace, from here you enter the house and the elegant living room which a lounge and a dining table. Adjoined to that is the kitchen, equipped with all modern utensils and very complete. The bedrooms are all comfortable and elegant with a raftered ceiling. This is a great place to relax in nature and there is no need to get bored for one second. From you lazy chair in the living room or the garden you have a free view out over the beautiful green landscape. Thanks to its peaceful location the Vrijgelegen holiday home is extremely suitable for those seeking peace and quiet, and for nature lovers, and in particular for families with (small) children.
