The friendly owners would be more than happy to explain where you can do so! You can reach the beautiful town of Aken in Germany by car in less than twenty minutes. Eijsden also has plenty on offer for sporty nature lovers. What about a walk through the 36 hectare Eijsden Beemden river bank reserve? Or perhaps you would prefer to explore the Savelsbos (forest), which is also home to a prehistoric flint cave. The accommodation has a warm ambiance and is equipped with all modern conveniences, like wireless internet, flat screen televisions and DVD players in every bedroom. Yet the authentic atmosphere has been safeguarded too, as a result of the owners’ careful approach. You will find an attractive living room on the ground floor, which boasts plenty of seating and dining tables. 't Limburgse Gasthoes

‘t Limburgse Gasthoes is special, welcoming accommodation built in the former stables of a 150 year old homestead in the province of Limburg. This holiday home has a rural and open location in Bemelen, between Maastricht and Valkenburg (5 km). During the build natural, sustainable materials such as bluestone were used, and ‘t Gasthoes includes all modern comforts. On the ground floor of ‘t Limburgse Gasthoes you will find a large kitchen diner with a cooking isle and a welcoming dining area with a long dining table. The lounge corner is furnished with a lot of cushions, a flat-screen television, a cupboard full of board games and a small bar. Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom, which is wheelchair accessible, with a shower space, washbasin and toilet. This room is suitable for two people. On the first floor of the group accommodation there are four family rooms, each with a mezzanine. There is a bedroom sleeping five, two bedrooms sleeping four and a bedroom sleeping three with a junior bed. All bedrooms have comfortable box-spring beds and a television. Each bedroom also comes with its own bathroom with beautiful washbasins and spacious showers, made of Belgian bluestone, and a toilet. 't Roosje

‘t Roosje is a welcoming, comfortable semi-detached holiday home, situated in a characteristic residential area in Heemstede. You can get on a bike and explore the beautiful surrounding area, such as the beach of Zandvoort (25 minutes), the old centre of Haarlem (10 minutes) or get the train to visit Amsterdam! The ‘t Roosje holiday home has a lovely living room with original details, such as the sliding doors and stained glass windows. The front part consists of a seating area and the middle part is the kitchen with a welcoming, long dining table. Via the French doors in the rear part you gain access to the garden, which is on a lower level and a wonderful place to play for the kids. There is also a nice terrace with garden furniture for you! The bedrooms are on the first floor: a master bedroom with a double bed and a children’s bedroom sleeping two. The bathroom, with a bathtub and shower, is also on this floor. You will find shops within walking distance (8 minutes). For children the Linnaeushof in Bennebroek (5 minutes by car) is a real must: this is the largest playground in Europe! Finally, if you don´t fancy cooking there are nice restaurants to be found within walking distance of ´t Roosje (including Italian and Australian) and some delicious take-away options (Asian, pizzeria etc.).

Aan de Schooter

This welcoming, unique mansion is in the beautiful Schotersingel. Within a five minute walk you can reach the Grote Markt, the heart of the centre of Haarlem. The owners make bicycles available so you can cycle to the Bloemendaal beach via the beautiful dune area. Would you like to visit Amsterdam for a day? The station is only three minutes walk away and by train it will only take you twenty minutes to get to the capital. On entering the beautiful hallway/entrance immediately catches the eye. Then you walk straight into the living room of the Aan de Schooter holiday home: a tasteful, comfortable complete space. The front is slightly higher (the living room is split-level), because of which you have a wonderful view out to the Singel. The lower level consists of a long dining table, a piano for the music lover and a modern open-plan kitchen. You gain access to the garden via the French doors. Here you can enjoy peace, quiet and privacy, while the children will have a great time on the trampoline and in the tree house. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom as well as a children’s room. The bathroom -with bathtub (incl. Whirlpool function) and shower- can only be reached via the master bedroom. On the second floor there are another two bedrooms (a children’s room and a bedroom with two single beds) and a small bathroom (exclusively accessible via the bedroom with the two single beds). A welcoming, neat holiday home, peacefully located and yet central: a wonderful holiday location!

From here you can walk to the beach or the lively seafront, but the many interesting sites in the surroundings are very easy to reach as well. House Beaudune is at the end of a quiet dead end street in a neighbourhood that was built in the dunes, on the edge of Noordwijk. From your house you can walk tot the beach or into the impressive walking- and cycling area of the Noordwijk dunes. The house itself is comfortably fit for four. In the spacious livingroom is a sitting area with colour TV and stereo, ofcourse placed around the cosy fireplace. The classic wooden dining table seats six and the kitchen offers you all the space and modern equipment you need. In the garage you can safely put your rented bikes. On the first floor you can reach the large and sunny balcony from the landing as well as from the master bedroom, to enjoy the morning sun. The larger bedroom has a double bed, the smaller one has two single beds. In the bathroom are a bath (with whirlpool facility) and a shower. The back garden is sheltered and sunny until the end of the day, so it’s a perfect place to cook on the barbecue or have a drink. A stone’s throw from the beautiful promenade of Scheveningen lies holiday home Belvédère. In this elegant town house for six people you recognize the glory of the resort in the 19th century. And all within walking distance of the beach and sea – perfect ingredients for a special holiday. In some spots along the Scheveningen boulevard time seems to have stood still and you can taste some of the seaside town of around 1900. Holiday home Belvedere is in such a place and combines the grandeur of the past with the comfort and liveliness of present time. If you stand on the highest balcony of the house, you can see that the place must have been about where Mesdag painted his world famous Panorama! The classic townhouse has a large living room in front and at the back side (the original doors are still there!) is the dining room. Here is not only a large dining table, but there is also a section specially equipped with toys and games galore for the children. The modern kitchen is separate and equipped with all necessary equipment and from here you have access to the secluded garden. It is almost inconceivable that the beach is less than a hundred meters away, because here it is an oasis of calm where you can sit outside until late on warm evenings. For the children there is a swing, for you a couple of sunbeds and a nice long dining table. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath, on the second floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. From holiday house Belvedere you walk two minutes to the beach and promenade, and also the center of the old fishing village of Scheveningen and the entertainment heart around the famous Kurhaus are nearby. By bike or by public transport you can easily and quickly reach the center of The Hague with its large and diverse range of shops and numerous cultural activities and museums. Here is a very comfortable family home located on the outskirts of Bergen. It is suitable for children because there are many toys and there is a trampoline in the garden. You can get to the beach within twenty minutes by bike and the village is only ten minutes away. Interior: The living room is spacious and colourful and has a very comfortable sitting area as well as a fully fitted open kitchen. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. The single bedroom has got a raised bed. On the second floor you will find another bedroom.

The Casa Colore holiday home is situated in a child-friendly neighbourhood, within walking distance of the welcoming centre of Noord-Scharwoude. It will only take you 40 minutes by bicycle or 15 minutes by car to get to the beach of Schoorl. The family home comes with all modern comforts and is furnished in a very welcoming and colourful way.The rear garden is a wonderful spot to lounge in and for children to play. Holiday home Casa Moche is situated in a quiet residential area of The Hague, between beaches and dunes and the lively centre of the city. This house is furnished for four persons in a modern style and it offers you the space and character from its building year: last century’s thirties. Holiday home Casa Moche is most suitable for families. On the ground floor of house Casa Moche is a bright livingroom with a cosy sitting area. All modern sound and vision gear is available and you (or your kids) can even use the Wii game computer. In the modern open kitchen you dispose of all necessary apliances. The dining table seats six. All three bedrooms are in the first floor of holiday home Casa Moche. The master bedroom has a balcony and a double bed. The next bedroom has a highsleeper and the last bedroom has a junior size half-highsleeper. The modern bathroom is fit with a bath and a walk-in shower. The nicely laid out sunny and sheltered garden has several places to enjoy the sun or a meal from the barbecue. Wireless internet is available. Holiday home Casa Moche is situated very centrally. There are shops in the surrounding area and the beaches and dunes, beach resorts Scheveningen and Kijkduin as well as the many-sided city center of The Hague are very easy to reach, also by public transportation.

Chez Saar

Holiday house Chez Saar is a characteristic fisherman’s house on a small courtyard, right in the old heart of Scheveningen. The sea and the beach are on walking distance, as are the lively seafront and shopping centre. But in this house you will enjoy most of all the peace and quiet. Holiday home Chez Saar is completely refurnished and modernised and you will discover the fresh and cosy atmosphere as soon as you enter the living room. Here is a comfortable sitting area with a large flatscreen tv. The dining table seats four and the open kitchen is fit with all modern appliances. The master bedroom on the first floor has a double bed, a walk-in closet and a sunny balcony. Adjoining is the bathroom with a bath. If you want you can put up the babybed in the small second bedroom. Behind the house is an alley but you can sit outside in front of the house Chez Saar. There it’s sunny and you have a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and the special courtyard atmosphere. The beach and the Boulevard with its famous Pier are on walking distance of house Chez Saar as is Scheveningens city centre. Plenty of shops and restaurants around and by public transport you can reach the many sided city centre of The Hague in just a few minutes.

Claar is Kees

Holiday house Claar is Kees is a former workers home near the city centre of Leyden. From here you can walk along the ancient waterways and canals into the heart of the city, but you’re also just a few kilometers away from the North Sea and its beaches. The old university city of Leyden has a lot to offer. It carries its second name ‘Museumcity’ for a reason, and there are numerous beautiful sites and historical buildings to see. Of course there are many fine restaurants and bars along the canals and the city has a wide variety of shops. Holiday home Claar is Kees is over a century old and is situated in a small dead end street near the centre. On the ground floor is the living room with a cosy sitting area (you could use the sofa bed if you want) and the dining table for four. The half open kitchen is fit with all necessary appliances. From the kitchen you have access to the typical sheltered city garden, where you can really enjoy the sun. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a double bed, the other room has a bunk bed. The bathroom is fit with a shower. There is an internet connection available and a kids’ playground is just a few hundred meters away as is a beautiful park. From house Claar is Kees you can easily walk into the centre of Leyden. Visit one of the many museums or the recently restored city citadel or one of the many other interesting places. A street with a bakery and some more shops is around the corner, and the bus stop and train station alre both on walking distance. The surroundings of the city are worth a visit as well. You will find all watersport facilities along the Kaag Lakes and the beaches of Noordwijk and Katwijk are nearby too. The Hague is at 20 minutes by car and cities like Haarlem, Amsterdam, Delft and Utrecht are easy to reach to. There is a trainstation at a few hundred meters from the house.

Cosy Alkmaar

In one of the oldest parts of the characteristic centre of Alkmaar you will find a holiday home with a story… This special building originates from 1550 and stands as a symbol for victory. With the Waagplein square (where on every Friday from April – September there is a cheese market) just around the corner and plenty of nice shops, restaurants and pavement cafes within arm’s length, this is a wonderful spot. Enter the large kitchen diner on the ground floor. A modern kitchen in an authentic space: indeed a special combination! Now the choice is yours: go to the first floor via the original wooden, somewhat wobbly, staircase or opt for the new modern staircase! On the first floor of Cosy Alkmaar there is a bedroom with a double bed and a television as well as a space with a wash basin, plus two separate toilets. There is also a shower on this floor. On the second floor you will find the welcoming living room with a seating area, a television, a dining table seating six and a washbasin. One of the sofas can be used as a sofa bed. Via a characteristic wooden staircase you can reach the romantic bedroom on the top floor. This space also comes with a washbasin. The holiday home is situated lively, you are surrounded by nice restaurants, enjoy the nightlife! ‘Atmosphere, atmosphere and more atmosphere: wooden beams, cute small windows, cosy nooks and crannies and plenty of original elements. All of this is combined with modern design, such as glass partitions. If you like this and if you don’t mind having to lower your head every now and then, to watch out whilst walking up stairs and you find tilting floors ‘ charming’, then I am sure you will enjoy yourself here.
