The centre of the village of Nes, with its modern shopping and bustling entertainment district, can be reached by bicycle in less than three minutes. Here you will also find some history: admire the beautiful commander’s residences. A visit to the village of Hollum, with the well-known Ameland lighthouse, is also certainly worth a visit. The living room of the Duinrand apartment is furnished in a contemporary way and has a beautiful view out to the Ameland dunes. It is entirely on one floor and there are two bedrooms, one of which has French doors out to the balcony. This bedroom also has a flat-screen television. After a wonderful day at the beach or a daytrip on the island, you can prepare a delicious dinner in the comfortable kitchen. Finally, you will find a bathroom with a shower, bath and washbasin. The Duinrand apartment is an ideal holiday destination thanks to its – almost direct – location by the beach of Nes. La Gaviota
Holiday bungalow with sunny garden, suited for upto six persons. The house is situated close to the forest, dunes, beach and sea and there are may playing facilities for children nearby. An ideal family home from where you can discover the island Ameland. On the north edge of small village Ballumlies house La Gaviota in a spaciously laid out holiday village. The bright livingroom and large and sunny garden are characteristic for this house. All rooms are on ground level. The modernly furnished livingroom has a coy sitting area and there’s a large dining table for six. The kitchen is not too big, but equipped with everything you need and in the adjoining side kitchen are a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are three bedrooms, all with two single beds. The modern bathroom has a shower. The garden is all around the house with a large lawn to play on and several terraces to find a place to sit, sunny or in the shade, in the cooling breeze or sheltered. A tennis court, minigolf course and outdoor pool (family entry ticket available!) are nearby. The holiday village borders the vast dune nature reserve that covers the northern part of the island, a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. The village of Ballum is about one kilometre away.

Bij Nes, gelegen in een duingebied tussen dit stadje en het strand, vindt u deze fantastische vrijstaande bungalow met eigen tuin met een ruim terras. Een perfecte lokatie om eens lekker uit te waaien. Het Noordzeestrand ligt op ongeveer 1 kilometer afstand en in de omgeving zijn tal van mogelijkheden zoals: wandelen in de duinen of bos, paardrijden, een rondvlucht maken boven Ameland, bezoek aan een natuurmuseum, speeltuin etc. Ook voor kinderen is deze natuurrijke omgeving bij uitstek geschikt.
