Llangoedmor House
This delightful Grade II Listed olde worlde cottage dates from the 1820′s and has a great wealth of charm. Llangoedmor has retained the old stone floors, many oak beams, stone walls and original windows and doors. Behind the cottage there is a completely private, enclosed walled courtyard. The cottage is in the centre of the small sleepy and very quiet hamlet of Myddfai – famous for the "Physicians of Myddfai" ancient welsh herbalists; with its fabulous new Visitor Centre, shop and cafe, all overlooked by the ancient 13th century St. Michaels Church famous for its five huge arches. The Visitor Centre was officially opened by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in June 2011 as they are near neighbours at Llwynywormod Estate. The cottage is in a good location to the western end of the National Park and the new Geo Park. This is a lovely area for walking on the Black Mountain with its Red Kites and wild ponies. There is a Red Kite feeding station 2 miles away at the Cross Inn Pub. Llandovery is 3 miles.
Goose
Het vakantiehuis Goose Cottage ligt op een klein privélandgoed dat op drie plaatsen door de rivier de Senni wordt omsloten. In deze rivier kun je vissen en zwemmen. Het is een zeer natuurlijke omgeving met otters en bruine forel in de rivier. Vogels als de rode wouw en de buizerd vliegen af en aan en schapen grazen vredig in de wei. In de dorpjes Sennybridge en Defynnog (1,5 km) vind je gezellige pubs en restaurants. Elke week wordt hier bovendien een veemarkt gehouden.
Bryntirion
Bryntirion is een comfortabele en ruime Victoriaanse familie huis goed ingericht en gerenoveerd en stel zeer dicht bij het centrum van Hay-on-Wye nog met een voetpad in de omgeving leidt rechtstreeks tot de Zwarte Bergen en Hay Bluff, dus een geweldige locatie voor iedereen in de familie wat je wilt doen.
