Naast het pittoreske stadje Goedereede zelf, treft u op het eiland ook de familiebadplaats Ouddorp en de vissersplaats Stellendam aan. Goedereede beschikt over een lang strand waar u lekker uit kan waaien en een frisse duik in de zee kan nemen bij mooi weer. Het historische centrum van Goedereede is een bezienswaardigheid op zich, maar u vindt er ook veel monumenten en musea. Daarnaast vindt u hier ook het Grevelingenmeer en zijn er vele mogelijkheden tot fiets- en wandelroutes voor de echte natuurliefhebbers. Een bezoekje aan boerderij de Mekkerstee is ook zeker een aanrader. Hier kunt u tussen meer dan 600 geiten lopen en knuffelen met andere boerderijdieren. u kunt er ook verschillende kazen proeven die van de geitenmelk gemaakt wordt. De grootste en belangrijkste haven van Europa vindt u op een klein uurtje rijden in havenstad Rotterdam. In het centrum van deze stad vind u vele leuke winkeltjes en restaurantjes om uw dag nog leuker te maken.

The lively Frederik Hendrikstraat is around the corner and both beach, sea and promenade of Scheveningen as the center of The Hague are easily accessible.
