The Water en Duinen country estate consists of a welcoming large villa sleeping 14 and a thatch-roofed garden house sleeping 4 people. The 5 hectare country estate is a true play paradise for children. The nearby beach at the Maasvlakte is ideal for swimming, kite surfing and wind surfing. At the Brielse Meer lake you can also hire a boat. The group accommodation still has all the details from the so-called Amsterdamse School style in which it was built in 1920. Only a few kilometres from the industrial area of Rotterdam you will find yourself in an oasis of peace and quiet. The Water en Duinen country estate lies right by a large nature reserve with many birds and even deer. The building itself has beautiful long corridors, round walls (according to Antroprosophic architecture-based on the theory of Rudolf Steiner), various seating areas, conservatories with a view to the enormous garden, and a quiet music room at the end of the corridor. The villa has 7 bedrooms (one of which is a hunting room, which can be reached from the outside of the house), 2 basic bathrooms and an extra shower. The garden house comes with yet another bedroom and a bathroom. On request it is possible to place two extra beds in this house. There is a golf course in the vicinity of the group accommodation, as well as a swimming pool. In the welcoming centre of Oostvoorne you will find a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store and a supermarket. The historic small town of Brielle can be reached in as little as 7 minutes. Tip from the owner: for a lovely lunch, dinner or just for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, visit the Aan Zee Oostvoorne restaurant, a sustainable restaurant in the dunes with a spectacular view. At the Oostvoornse Meer lake there is also a diving school. We also recommend, during your stay in the Water en Duinen country estate, paying a visit to the Kenniscentrum Maasvlakte (information centre): very special!

Naast 3 slaapplaatsen voor volwassenen is er eventueel nog een kinderslaapkamer aanwezig. Ook is er nog een slaapbank aanwezig op de zolderverdieping. Dat wordt keten voor de kinderen op zolder. Het vakantiehuis is een heerlijke uitvalsbasis voor verkenning van de historische stad Leiden met diverse musea zoals Rijksmuseum van Oudheden en Volkenkunde. De monumentale binnenstad met haar grachten, steegjes en vele hofjes is ‘the best kept secret’. Genoeg gezien in de stad? In slechts 25 minuten rijdt u naar het strand en de duinen van Katwijk en Noordwijk. Of beter: u maakt er gelijk een mooie fietstocht van. In 45 minuten staat u op het strand. The luxurious Port Nautique apartment is situated on the ground floor of a modern and exclusive complex on the Brouwersdam: the dike which separates the Grevelingenmeer lake from the North Sea. The beach and the sea are on the other side of the dike, and are within walking distance of the apartment! You enter on the lowest level of the apartment. Here you will find the entrance area and the large washing and storage space. Half a floor up you will find the spacious living room which is lovely and light thanks to its height and large windows. There is a comfortable seating area and a dining table seating six. The up-to-date open-plan kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences. From your terrace you can view the lively activities of the marina. Another half level up are the two bedrooms and the luxurious bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed which is suitable for three children to sleep in.
