The Water en Duinen country estate consists of a welcoming large villa sleeping 14 and a thatch-roofed garden house sleeping 4 people. The 5 hectare country estate is a true play paradise for children. The nearby beach at the Maasvlakte is ideal for swimming, kite surfing and wind surfing. At the Brielse Meer lake you can also hire a boat. The group accommodation still has all the details from the so-called Amsterdamse School style in which it was built in 1920. Only a few kilometres from the industrial area of Rotterdam you will find yourself in an oasis of peace and quiet. The Water en Duinen country estate lies right by a large nature reserve with many birds and even deer. The building itself has beautiful long corridors, round walls (according to Antroprosophic architecture-based on the theory of Rudolf Steiner), various seating areas, conservatories with a view to the enormous garden, and a quiet music room at the end of the corridor. The villa has 7 bedrooms (one of which is a hunting room, which can be reached from the outside of the house), 2 basic bathrooms and an extra shower. The garden house comes with yet another bedroom and a bathroom. On request it is possible to place two extra beds in this house. There is a golf course in the vicinity of the group accommodation, as well as a swimming pool. In the welcoming centre of Oostvoorne you will find a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store and a supermarket. The historic small town of Brielle can be reached in as little as 7 minutes. Tip from the owner: for a lovely lunch, dinner or just for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, visit the Aan Zee Oostvoorne restaurant, a sustainable restaurant in the dunes with a spectacular view. At the Oostvoornse Meer lake there is also a diving school. We also recommend, during your stay in the Water en Duinen country estate, paying a visit to the Kenniscentrum Maasvlakte (information centre): very special!

The beach, the sea and the promenade within walking distance and the lively shopping and entertainment center of Noordwijk within reach – if that’s your idea of the perfect beach holiday, Maarten’s Strand is your perfect holiday home! This comfortable house is very centrally located and fully equipped for six people. Holiday home Maarten’s Strand is in the center of Noordwijk and has three floors. The living room and fully equipped kitchen are on the first floor, where both the front and the back have a balcony. Through the spiral staircase to reach the second floor where there are two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed and one of the rooms also has a balcony. In the bathroom on this floor you have a bath and toilet. On the second floor is a cozy sleeping loft with a double bed and a private bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. In the laundry room you will find a washer and dryer. Obviously you dispose of wireless internet in this house and also there is a private car park at the rear – very pleasant on sunny beach days. From your holiday home you can walk straight into the lively center where you will find a variety of shops, but also numerous restaurants and some good nightlife. These you will also find of course along the boulevards, both almost literally around the corner. And within a few minutes you can have your feet in the surf of the North Sea and you will find a nice spot on the beach. Noordwijk has much more to offer besides the beach, and also the environment is particularly attractive. There are extensive hiking and cycling opportunities (in the spring the blooming flower fields around Noordwijk are spectacular!) and a visit to Space Expo is very worthwhile. But you can also go supping, kite-surfing or test yourself on a scooter safari in the dunes! Interesting cities such as Leiden, Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague are all quickly and easy to reach – by car or by public transport.

In vakantiehuis Hortensiahof waant u zich geheel weg van de bewoonde wereld als u uitkijkt over water en groen. Toch bevindt u zich in dit exclusieve huis voor twee personen midden in een van de dichtstbevolkte gebieden op aarde… Vakantiehuis Hortensiahof is zeer landelijk gelegen op het terrein van de villa van de eigenaar aan een klein weggetje tussen water en weilanden. In dit sfeervolle vakantiehuis vindt u vooral rust en ruimte. Er is een stijlvolle woonkamer met openslaande deuren naar de mooi aangelegde tuin. De eetkamer ligt een paar treden lager en heeft een grote tafel voor zes personen. De lichte open keuken is weer iets hoger gelegen en is voorzien van de nodige apparatuur. In de eerste compacte badkamer vindt u een douche en toilet, in de tweede moderne badkamer is een ligbad. De slaapkamer tenslotte beschikt over een comfortabel tweepersoonsbed. De tuin van huis Hortensiahof is met zorg aangelegd en heeft behalve een groot terras en een gazon ook een aantal mooie wandelpaden en zitjes langs het water. De gastvrije eigenaar woont ook op het terrein maar respecteert uw privacy volledig. In de omgeving van huis Hortensiahof zijn talloze fietsroutes en u verblijft hier op nauwelijks een kilometer afstand van de Kagerplassen. Bij de jachthaven aan het eind van de weg kunt uw boot afmeren of een kano huren en er is een landwinkel waar u regionale producten en kaas kunt kopen. In de dichtstbij gelegen plaatsen Sassenheim en Lisse vindt u alle voorzieningen en steden als Haarlem, Leiden, Amsterdam en Den Haag zijn allemaal binnen 30 minuten bereikbaar. Natuurlijk verblijft u hier op minder dan tien kilometer van de Noordzee en zijn de stranden van Katwijk en Noordwijk snel en gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
