Le Pecheur

This very authentic holiday home is situated in a quiet little courtyard in the old fishermen’s village of Scheveningen. By joining two original fisherman’s houses this charming house for four was created at a stone’s throw from the beach, seafront and shopping centre of lively Scheveningen. At a few minutes distance from beach and sea, lies house Le Pecheur, hidden in a small courtyard in the old heart of Scheveningen. The owner has joined two authentic small fisherman’s houses into one stylish holiday home. In the livingroom is a cosy sitting area with a small tv. In the adjoining diningroom you find the large wooden dining table for eight. Although the house is fit with a central heating system, the living and dining rooms have a gas stove that adds some extra atmosphere. The compact bathroom with toilet and shower is on the ground floor as well. By the open staircase you reach the first floor where you directly enter the first bedroom. Here are two single beds. In the adjoining bedroom are two single beds again and a tv and stereoset. In front of the house is a terrace where you can enjoy the sun or sit in the shadow under the old red beech. From your house you can walk to the beach, the seafront and the centre of Scheveningen. The Hague’s city centre is easy to reach by public transport.
