Serendipity
Freestanding cottage for four with a large garden, wonderfully situated between the flowerbulb fields at the edge of the dunes. From here you can easily reach the beaches and also all interesting historical cities in the surroundings. House Serendipity is on a private property with some other houses in the rural area outside Noordwijkerhout. From your garden with several terraces you overlook a piece of forest, the open landscape and the edge of the dunes area. The beach, the sea and the vast natural reserve are practically in front of your house. On the ground Floor you have a comfortable living room with a sitting area and a large dining table for six. The open kitchen isn’t too big, but you’ll have everything you need there. From the nice relaxing seat near the folding doors you have a view over the nicely laid out garden and the surrounding landscape. There’s side kitchen and several ways of access to the terraces and garden. There are two very spacious bedrooms on the first floor. One of them has a double bed and the other one two single beds. In the latter there’s also a solarium over one of the beds. The owner can put in a baby bed on request. The neat bathroom has a shower. In the garden there are several romantic places to sit, among which a wooden boardwalk over the water. There’s a shed where you can put away your bicycles dry and safe and you can park your car on your own property in front of the house. The Amsterdam Water Company dunes are a very special Natural Reserve Area just a few hundred meters away from the house. Here you can walk (no dogs allowed!) and even make a tour in a horse cart. The beach is right behind the dunes of course. Langevelderslag is the nearest beach, but beach resort Noordwijk is just a few kilometres further down the road. Shops you will find in Noordwijkerhout, but interesting cities like Haarlem, Leyden, Amsterdam and The Hague are less than half an hours drive away. And when you visit in Spring, you literally live amongst the flowers and nearby flower exhibition The Keukenhof is an absolute must-see!

Familyhouse Somerstaete is a stylish holiday accommodation in the beautiful The Hague Statenkwartier area. The house is very suitable for families up to 6 people, who want to enjoy an ideal location between town and beach with all amenities within reach. House Somerstaete is a typical town house dating from the early twentieth century and extensively renovated by the current owners while maintaining detail and equipped with modern comforts. On the ground floor is a spacious living room suite with original sliding doors. The seating area is a modern lounge area with smart TV (including Netflix, HBO, etc.) and in the back room is the dining table that seats up to eight people and a gas fireplace. The open kitchen is equipped with all appliances and a breakfast bar for three people. On the first floor is the master bedroom with a large double bed and the first bathroom which has a bath, shower and floor heating. The children’s playroom has a comfy couch, plenty of toys and a TV with DVD player. The other bedrooms are on the second floor – all three with a single bed, two of which also even have a trundle yet. There is also a large balcony where you can enjoy the sun until sunset.
