This ground Floor apartment is situated on the board of the Old Rhine and has recently been renovated and refurnished by the owner. The accommodation is modernly fit and furnished for two people and a small child (on request). Here you have a wonderful garden with a large terrace and your own gantry at the riverside, from where you can sail to the Dutch lakes around Leiden. And of course the sea, the beaches and the dunes are at very short distance. The ‘Rijnhuisje’ has a spacious living room with folding doors to the sunny waterside terrace. There’s a comfortable sitting area and a dining table and a screened off section with two comfortable single beds. You will enter through the modern kitchen with all modern appliances and gear. The bathroom is modern too and has a luxurious walk-in shower. You can of course land your own boat at your private pier, but from Katwijk you can also discover the surrounding region with a tourist boat. The owner of the house will take you in his own boat to Leiden or the Kagerlakes on request. The North Sea and the lively center of beach resort Katwijk are nearby, as are Noordwijk and historical cities like Leiden, The Hague, Amsterdam and Haarlem. The owner of the Rijnhuisje lives nextdoor and he puts a bicycle at your disposal to explore the region in a typical Dutch way.

The beach, the sea and the promenade within walking distance and the lively shopping and entertainment center of Noordwijk within reach – if that’s your idea of the perfect beach holiday, Maarten’s Strand is your perfect holiday home! This comfortable house is very centrally located and fully equipped for six people. Holiday home Maarten’s Strand is in the center of Noordwijk and has three floors. The living room and fully equipped kitchen are on the first floor, where both the front and the back have a balcony. Through the spiral staircase to reach the second floor where there are two bedrooms. Both feature a double bed and one of the rooms also has a balcony. In the bathroom on this floor you have a bath and toilet. On the second floor is a cozy sleeping loft with a double bed and a private bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. In the laundry room you will find a washer and dryer. Obviously you dispose of wireless internet in this house and also there is a private car park at the rear – very pleasant on sunny beach days. From your holiday home you can walk straight into the lively center where you will find a variety of shops, but also numerous restaurants and some good nightlife. These you will also find of course along the boulevards, both almost literally around the corner. And within a few minutes you can have your feet in the surf of the North Sea and you will find a nice spot on the beach. Noordwijk has much more to offer besides the beach, and also the environment is particularly attractive. There are extensive hiking and cycling opportunities (in the spring the blooming flower fields around Noordwijk are spectacular!) and a visit to Space Expo is very worthwhile. But you can also go supping, kite-surfing or test yourself on a scooter safari in the dunes! Interesting cities such as Leiden, Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague are all quickly and easy to reach – by car or by public transport.

In de winter ligt de Catherina afgemeerd in de Veerhaven in hartje Rotterdam, op steenworp afstand van de plek waar de watertaxi naar hotel "New York" aanlegt. Je hebt er een prachtig uitzicht op de nieuwe Erasmusbrug en de "Kop van Zuid", ook wel genoemd: "Het Manhattan aan de Maas". Tegen bijbetaling ter plaatse is het ook mogelijk om uit varen te gaan. Neem hiervoor contact op met de schipper minimaal een week voordat u gaat! Al met al ideaal voor een fantastisch verblijf in de binnenstad van havenstad Rotterdam. Extra informatie: Dekbedden en kussen maken onderdeel uit van het linnenpakket dat u kunt huren. De mogelijkheid bestaat ook om zelf een slaapzak of eigen dekbed en linnengoed mee te nemen. Een TV/DVD-speler kan op verzoek geplaatst worden.
