The Bed & Breakfast Roode Bes holiday home in Langedijke, close to the Drents-Friese Wold national park, combines the outdoor life with luxury. Enjoy walking, horseback riding or golfing in this natural beauty. There will be two bicycles ready for you to use and it is also possible to stable your horse in one of the spacious, light stables or in the paddock/on the grass land. Your guest accommodation, sleeping two, in Bed & Breakfast Roode Bes comes with its own entrance via a staircase on the ground floor and comes with a shower room and a separate toilet. The modern bedrooms have new box-spring beds and a flat screen television. The general area with a welcoming woodstove offers space to enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink and if you wish, you can be served an extensive fresh breakfast here in the morning. Tip: this location is also suitable to hold meetings or to organize training/brainstorm sessions. There is a table seating 18. In addition there are some bar tables and other seating areas. It is also possible to arrange catering for lunches, cocktail parties or dinners. It consists of over 6000 hectares of woodlands, heathland, drift sand and stream grasslands. The Drents Friese Wold is an attractive specialist habitat for many plants and animals. For nature lovers there is plenty to do. Cycling paths, walking paths, a large choice of bridle-way routes (75 km) and a visitor’s centre offer you the opportunity to discover the natural beauty of the national park. In the near surroundings, apart from walking, cycling, horse-back riding and golfing you can take lovely day trips, for example to the Drents Museum, the Aekingerzand recreational area, the Blauwe Meer recreational area and the woodland pool of Appelscha. It is also nice to pay a visit to the dolmens, the Shakespeare open-air theatre in Diever, and the Groninger Museum.
