Holiday villa with thatched roof, situated under the watchful eye of the lighthouse, at the foot of the dunes. The villa is located in a wonderful holiday park and close to the romantic village of Hollum. The luxurious and comfortable furnishing in combination with many conveniences at the park makes this a fantastic destination for the entire family. On the ground floor of the Engelsmanduinvilla villa there is a pleasant living room, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Also, here at ground level is a bedroom with adjoining shower. The remaining two bedrooms and a second bathroom are provided with a bath and shower and are located on the upper floor. Some of the villas have a sauna or bubble bath at their disposal. Naturally, there is a terrace with garden furniture in which you can most delightfully take your rest. In the holiday park there really is everything to do. There is a covered swimming pool, midget golf, bowling alley and various playgrounds. And as if this isn’t enough, during the holidays, all sorts of activities organised by the animation team. Would you prefer some rest? In that case we advise a visit to the sauna complex with dry sauna, Turkish swimming pool, cold plunge bathtub, whirlpool and infrared sauna. Ameland is sea. Ameland is dunes. Yet Ameland has a whole lot more! Experience Ameland and wander along the paths where you will hardly ever bump into anyone, cycle along the most beautiful spots and discover the nature reserve. The centre of Hollum lies “around the corner” but just as well, also Ballum, Buren and Nes, the other villages belonging to the island, are truly worth a visit. Likewise a visit to the lighthouse, the sea aquarium, and the recreation area called the ‘Vleyen’ (ideal for children) or the lifeboat museum is a lot of fun and adventure.
