Farm-apartment in the middle of the beautiful landscape of Twente, where peace and quiet, nature and cosiness are still available in abundance. Your holiday apartment is located in a small-scale holiday park with a children’s farm, playground, mini-golf course and restaurant. It is the ideal base for various walking and cycling trips and from your apartment you can reach the Twickel estate and castle within 10 minutes. Great towns such as Almelo and Hengelo are in the close vicinity. In short: an ideal place for a family holiday! Saksen is arranged to be child-friendly and rustic. On the ground floor you’ll find the living room with sitting area, dining table and open-plan kitchen. The three bedrooms – all equipped with luxurious box-spring beds for extra sleeping comfort – and the bathroom are on the top floor. Through the garden doors in the living room you have access to your private terrace, provided with a terrace set, lounger and parasol. A barbecue or terrace-heater can be rented on request. From your holiday apartment you can enjoy the view over the farmlands of Twente throughout the entire year. A region with an authentic cultural inheritance and where life is still green! We can offer several houses within this park.
