At the large round table in the kitchen-diner you can enjoy a lovely breakfast in the morning sunshine. Next to the Pondarosa holiday home kitchen is the utility room and a spacious bathroom. On the ground floor you will find one bedroom with two single beds. The other five spacious bedrooms are on the second floor, along with the second toilet. The beautifully laid out Pondarosa garden, which can be locked, has various cosy seating areas and there is enough space for a good game of football. Via a small gate you gain access to the front garden which is located by a small stream. Next to the house you will find the bulb-growing company of the owners of Pondarosa. They like to offer their guests an excursion and to explain about the bulb-growing world. Those who opt for Pondarosa in springtime can look forward to fresh flowers on the table as well as in the nearby fields. The nearby Anna Paulowna has an extensive range of shops and various good restaurants. Pondarosa is also a great base for the nearby country estate of Hoenderdaell, which is a lot more than just a zoo housing exotic creatures. Other day trips: the nature reserve on the edge of Kleine Sluis, the Westfriese market in Schagen and the famous cheese market in Alkmaar. Those who want to windsurf can go to the nearby Lutjestrand beach, and via the Afsluitdijk, within a fifteen minutes drive, you can be in Friesland in no time.
