The Skonke Pole holiday home is situated in a completely newly built holiday park in the middle of the Frisian water-sports area. You will find the holiday home right beside the bank of the Terhernster Poelen, on the edge of the welcoming village of Terherne. The heart of the town of Sneek is only a six kilometre sail from here. Skonke Pole is situated directly beside the water and you have your own mooring. On the ground floor is the living room with a seating area, a dining area and an open-plan kitchen. The bathroom is on the first floor and here you will also find the three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has two single beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed. In the surroundings of the Skonke Pole holiday home there are plenty of activities in which to partake. For example, you can rent a boat and sail right onto the Frisian water from your holiday home. You can also rent bicycles, go-karts, sloops, surf boards and pedalos and you can go kayaking, waterskiing and fishing. The lively town of Sneek is a twenty kilometre drive from the holiday home. Other Frisian towns such as Heerenveen, Leeuwarden and Joure are also nearby.

Characteristic harbour house, two by two grouped around the harbour in the water sports village of Terherne at the Sneekermeer (lake). The wooden houses enjoy a comfortable temperature, they have a pleasant atmosphere and are equipped with all modern conveniences. A unique location to spend a comfortable night in a historic, nautical atmosphere. You will find an open kitchen and a lounge and dining room on the first floor, with a covered balcony on the harbour side. Ideal for enjoying the outside early on in the spring. Plus this layout has resulted in beautiful views across the harbour with all its classic ships. Two bedrooms are located downstairs, each with two beds, a sanitary area and a veranda by the door. A fantastic place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of rose. Or perhaps to pass the time of day and exchange information on the day’s events with the ship owners. The owner has given each harbour house its own name, whereby the history, sport, Friesians, writers, etc, have all been considered. Something characteristic about the name giver makes a return in the houses. Terherne is surrounded by water and it’s therefore no coincidence that the village has grown into a water sports village with international allure. Plenty of sailing possibilities. You can rent a boat or sloop via the owner. If you plan on arriving with your own sloop or sailing boat, then a mooring place in the harbour is available for your use.

Zeer comfortabel schip met optimale ruimteverdeling! In combinatie met zijn compacte afmetingen, is het een perfect manoeuvreerbaar familieschip. Door de indeling met 2 vaste, dubbele bedden en de mogelijkheid om van de dinette nog een extra dubbel bed te maken, heeft u ruimte genoeg om te genieten van de uitstekende vaareigenschappen. Tevens biedt het schip voldoende zitgelegenheid. Voor dit schip is ervaring en vaarkennis een vereiste. Houdt u er rekening mee dat u voor enkele gemeentelijke bruggen een bijdrage van ca. 1,20 tot 2,- per brug. Liggelden en eventueel toeristenbelasting betaalt u in jachthavens en oevers die gemarkeerd zijn door gemeenten of grondeigenaren. Prijs per lengtemeter schip is ca. 1,- per nacht. Bij terugkomst in de haven wordt de boot volgetankt. U betaalt uiteraard het verbruik tegen normale dieselprijs. Een grote schade betekent vaak dat uw gestorte borgsom wordt ingehouden. Het eigen risico van de all-risk verzekering wordt steeds hoger.
