Het mooie uitzicht en de aanwezige kippen, schapen en pony’s zorgen voor een echte landelijke sfeer. In de woning is er een recreatie/speelzaal van 30m2 waarin meerdere spellen en fitnessapparaten staan voor jong en oud. Dus ook met slecht weer kan iedereen zich prima vermaken. Op loopafstand van het vakantiehuis vindt u meerdere landgoederen, zoals het landgoed Ijsselvliedt, Vollenhof, en Oldhorst. De landgoederen ademen nog sterk de sfeer van vroeger uit, met de kastelen en boslaantjes waar u kunt wandelen en fietsen. In het dorp Wezep is een subtropisch zwemparadijs. Ook kunt u excursies volgen in een ambachtelijke fruittuin, of rondwalen in de Hanzesteden Zwolle, Hattem, Deventer, of Kampen. Het vestingstadje Elburg met zijn oude haven is zeker een bezoekje waard.
