Holiday home Iris is a stylishly furnished, detached house situated in a former monastery garden in Bergen. It is a real family home suitable for seven people. You will find everything in your immediate surroundings. The Bergen aan Zee beach is less than a twenty minute bike ride away, the Bergerbos and the lively centre of Bergen with its great terraces and trendy shops is a ten minute walk away. Holiday home Iris has a modern design and a lot of living space on the ground floor; the luxury open-plan kitchen is a godsend for the cooking enthusiast. You access the beautifully laid out garden from the living room. The various terraces with sofa loungers really catch the eye. Your holiday home also has a lot to offer children, such as great toys (for children from six to thirteen) and a large trampoline in the front garden. Also great to know is that there is a rubber dingy ready for use behind the house at the quay. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a large luxury bathroom. The second floor has yet another bedroom. There are beautiful cycling routes to explore outside Bergen through the quaint villages of Schoorl and Groet. The charming city of Alkmaar with its canals and cheese museum is less than a twenty minute bike ride away, and certainly worth a visit.

Park Westerkogge
Park Westerkogge, ligt in de gemeente Koggenland in het dorpje Berkhout. Oude bomen en brede hagen beïnvloeden het beeld op dit vakantiepark. Naast een gedeelte waar de chalets staan, is een deel gereserveerd voor kampeerders. Het park heeft diverse faciliteiten waaronder een openlucht zwembad met kinderbadje. Er kunnen fluisterbootjes en elektrische scooters gehuurd worden. De omgeving is divers; molens, bollenvelden, sloten en brede vaarten omringen het gebied. De ultieme rust van het vele water op het park beleven? Huur dan een kano, of gooi een hengeltje uit. Ga je er liever op uit? Op slechts 7 km. van het park ligt het Ijsselmeer met surf-/zeilstrand. De gezellige stad Hoorn met leuke jachthavens, winkelstraatjes en restaurants ligt op een goed te overbruggen afstand van Berkhout. Grotere steden als Amsterdam, Haarlem en Alkmaar zijn binnen 30 autominuten te bereiken. Attractive, detached holiday home, situated along a quiet road in the heart of Groet. You can walk straight into the beautiful forest and dune area from behind the house. The beach is just a thirty minute walk away. The design is a combination of modern and classic and the ground floor is split level. The renewed lounge area has a cosy open fire and you can reach the comfortabel kitchen via a step, which is equipped with all modern conveniences. The recently renovated bathroom has a shower. The house is not suitable for people with walking difficulties because of the many steps. There is a beautifully landscaped garden around the house and the various different terraces ensure you can enjoy the sunshine throughout the day.
