Those who opt for Pondarosa in springtime can look forward to fresh flowers on the table as well as in the nearby fields. The nearby Anna Paulowna has an extensive range of shops and various good restaurants. Pondarosa is also a great base for the nearby country estate of Hoenderdaell, which is a lot more than just a zoo housing exotic creatures. Other day trips: the nature reserve on the edge of Kleine Sluis, the Westfriese market in Schagen and the famous cheese market in Alkmaar. Those who want to windsurf can go to the nearby Lutjestrand beach, and via the Afsluitdijk, within a fifteen minutes drive, you can be in Friesland in no time.

Die separate Küche ist einfach, aber bequem eingerichtet. Im ersten Stock gibt es drei Schlafzimmer: zwei Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett. Außerdem befinden sich im ersten Stock noch ein Schlafzimmer ohne bett mit Badewanne und ein separater Raum mit Dusche.
