Haarlems Familiehuis is located in a beautiful historical building in the center of Haarlem. It has recently been transformed into a beautiful property which can accommodate up to 55 people ! You enter the cozy common room with a seating area and a professional catering kitchen with a bar. The manager is happy to provide anything you need. You can cook your own family meal . Or do you prefer to have it done by the cook ? You can also go outside where there is a charming patio with a cozy fireplace. Here you spend long summer evenings. The bedrooms are on the floor and have a variety of themes inspired by Haarlem. Where do you want to sleep, in the room of aunt Leen or in the Frans Hals room? Or even in the hip "bedstee"? De twaalf unieke, ruim opgezette en sfeervol ingerichte tenthuizen liggen elk midden in duinlandschap. Elke accommodatie ligt in een eigen "duinpan" en beschikt over uitzicht over het omliggende natuurgebied of over het speelse duinlandschap tussen de accommodaties. Naast de sfeervolle inrichting, staat een verblijf in het teken van beleving en gezelligheid. Zo is er voor de kinderen een bedstede (1.40×2.00m.) om in te slapen, de verwarming en het koken geschiedt op een houtgestookte kachel (hout inbegrepen) en verspreiden authentieke petroleumlampen, kandelaars en lantaarns een warme gloed nadat het avondzonnetje achter de duinen is verdwenen. Kom je vol zand terug van het strand, dan kan je het watervat op de buitendouche koppelen. Even het water in de emmer pompen en met een grote plons ben je weet helemaal schoon. Liever gewoon even snel douchen? Daartoe is er op Duinpark Het Zwanenwater een comfortabele centrale sanitaire gelegenheid. Een koelkast is er in de vorm van een koelkist, die werkt op koelelementen. In de keuken beschik je over koud stromend water. Voor 50 Euro per dag huur je een houtgestookte hottub.
